What if the unknown wasn’t something to fear – but something to design?

What if the unknown wasn’t something to fear – but something to design?

Led by Giovanni Ottonello, IED Art Director, Designing the Unknown is an immersive creative workshop where curiosity becomes your most powerful tool

You’ll dive into the world of a stranger – decoding their personality, style, cultural background, and aesthetic universe – and turn your insights into a meaningful design project. From fashion to product, visual communication to interdisciplinary concepts, you’ll create objects and experiences that don’t just look good, but tell a story.

Because great design always starts with understanding who it’s for.

Open to both high school and university students and young creatives, this workshop is your opportunity to experience IED’s hands-on, cross-disciplinary approach in action.

Why join?

Challenge your creativity in a new way
• Experience IED’s design methodology
• Explore multiple creative disciplines
• Discover IED Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs
• Get guidance on Admissions and Scholarships

📍 Nod Makerspace, Bucharest
🗓 Saturday, March 14
🕚 11:00 – approx. 16:00

☕ Refreshments included
