In-person event

Quito Design Week in Ecuador is a key event that celebrates innovation and creativity in design. IED participates by highlighting its contributions and new trends.

A new edition of Quito Design Week begins next October 14, where the IED will be present with a space where interested participants will know about the educational offerings of our schools in Spain and Italy. You can also find out about study plans, costs, scholarships, admission requirements, discounts, promotions, etc.

Likewise, the IED has organized the conference “Welcome the unexpected: Inspiration, ideas and challenges of design”, led by Hernán Ordóñez, renowned designer and teacher at IED Barcelona.

Quito Design Week is a great celebration of ecuadorian design to connect the creative community and position it as an agent of economic, social and cultural change. It is a great celebration of design at a national and international level. It has a series of activities that integrate the different aspects of creative practices, articulating them with the cultural industry and the public that visits them, highlighting design as a tool for solving problems and generating innovation.

This year the Benjamín Carrión Bellavista Cultural Center will be the main location, but it will also have a wide variety of activities (fairs, workshops, exhibitions and experiences) in different parts of the city.
