A Sant Jordi marked by intergenerationality and solidarity through design

This social action allowed different generations to connect in an exchange marked by creativity, empathy and commitment to people and the environment

As part of the IED Social project, IED Barcelona students participated once more in the Rosas de Sant Jordi initiative. This is an activity carried out in collaboration with ASTE Barcelona, consisting of delivering roses accompanied by prints designed by students from different disciplines of the school to elderly residents in three care homes in the district of Gracia. In total, students distributed almost a hundred roses.

This social action enabled different generations to connect in an exchange marked by creativity, empathy and commitment to people and the environment.

IED Barcelona’s IED Social project aims to generate a positive social impact in the neighborhood and in the city of Barcelona through design, taking the activities that students carry out at school to the streets.
