EGO, the runway show dedicated to emerging fashion designers, will feature two alumni and one student from our community this year. Moisés Nieto and Ernesto Naranjo will be part of the official schedule, while faculty member Juan Vidal will present his collection at a private invitation-only event.

The upcoming edition of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid will feature six names with ties to IED. Alumni Javier Comesaña, founder of Apolineo Studio, and Matilde Bliebernicht, creator of Misstake, together with student Antonio Cotes (IED Madrid), will take to the EGO catwalk dedicated to emerging talent, while fellow IED Madrid graduates Moisés Nieto and Ernesto Naranjo will both present their collections on the official catwalk.

In addition, award-winning designer Juan Vidal, lecturer and creative director of the final collections of the Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design at IED Barcelona, will also be part of Madrid’s major fashion event.

The EGO show will take place on September 19 as part of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid, which this year celebrates two decades of this platform dedicated to supporting and showcasing emerging Spanish design.

Meanwhile, Juan Vidal will present his creations on September 15 at a private, invitation-only event, while Moisés Nieto and Ernesto Naranjo will take to the official catwalk the following day.

The participation of these talents reflects IED’s commitment to educating and supporting new generations of fashion professionals, accompanying its students and alumni on their path into the industry and providing a platform to showcase their work and creative languages.
