The 37th edition of 080 Barcelona Fashion is once again placing its trust in talent trained in the classrooms of the Istituto Europeo di Design, with runway shows by Guillermo Justicia, Eñaut and REPARTO

The 37th edition of 080 Barcelona Fashion once again places its trust in the talent trained in the classrooms of the Istituto Europeo di Design. The most international fashion event in Spain —which, for the first time, will hold its shows in a new setting, Port Vell at Marina Vela— features in its programme three runway shows led by IED alumni.

Representing IED Barcelona, Guillermo Justicia and Eñaut Barruetabeña will bring their designer fashion to the runway on 16 April at 12:30 pm and 17 April at 7 pm, respectively.

Guillermo Justicia will mark his third participation in this event, where he made his debut just two years ago with his final collection from the Master in Fashion Design at IED Barcelona. His immersive and conceptual style, which seeks to connect the natural environment with art by combining volumes, colours and fabrics, will be represented on this occasion by the collection “Viscerum”.

Eñaut, already a seasoned designer at 080, will present his collection “Ego Dissolution”. A Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design graduate from IED Barcelona in 2017, his signature is defined by a minimalist aesthetic, attention to detail and an ethical, sustainable creative philosophy.

Meanwhile, REPARTO, a brand founded by the Programme Leaders of the Master in Fashion Design at IED Madrid, Margil Peña and Ana Viglione, will unveil “Clasificación: Ron 16 April at 5:30 pm. This proposal explores existential fears and the most intimate insecurities, reclaiming vulnerability as part of identity. The collection also contributes to the brand’s sustainable and experimental aesthetic through upcycling and the reuse of second-hand garments.
