HackThatFashion is a brand new project co-funded by the Creative Europe Programme by an experienced team from different European countries, Istituto Europeo di Design among them, providing fashion and design experts

On March 1st from 16:00 to 17:30h, HackThatFashion launches its first capacity-building activity: the workshop Tools and Best Practices for the Sustainable Fashion Industry. In this online workshop, participants will join a collaborative session in which they can acquire and test different tools for sustainable fashion, curated by HackThatFashion.

This set of 16 different tools apply the 4 steps of Design Thinking (Understand, Define, Make, Release) and will provide intuitive exercises for fashion enterprises to further integrate sustainable approaches into the way they do business. They will also learn more about the HackThatFashion project and how they can benefit from it.

Furthermore, Liis Tiisvelt, founder of the Estonian sustainable and carefree brand iLLIMOR, will join to discuss finding the right balance between a comfortable design, environmental sustainability, and social responsibility.

Register here for free to participate in the digital workshop via Zoom (limited places following the order of registration).

HackThatFashion is a brand new project co-funded by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union for the sustainable and digital transition of the fashion industry. Over its two-year duration, the project will offer a free support programme consisting of hands-on tools, workshops and hackathons for fashion brands, designers, startups and SMEs that are in the early stages of defining their business models.

The HackThatFashion journey is led by an experienced team from different European countries: Envolve Entrepreneurship (Greece), business and innovation experts; IED Istituto Europeo di Design (Spain), fashion and design experts; and Tartu Centre for Creative Industries (Estonia), creative industries experts.

By joining the programme, participants from all over Europe will be able to improve their capacities in two main areas: first, the coherent use of digital technology, and second, the effective use of more sustainable practices.
